Javonni joined SIT in 2018 as the University Relations manager for the Lower Atlantic region and is based in Falls Church, Virginia. Originally from Saint Louis, Missouri, Javonni holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Hampton University and a master’s degree in international education from SIT Graduate Institute. Drawing on her study abroad experiences in Costa Rica and Senegal, Javonni recently designed and implemented a summer service-learning program for students at Saint Augustine’s University and spent one year in their International Programs office. In 2014, Javonni joined the U.S. Peace Corps to serve as a youth development volunteer in the Philippines. She has also previously worked with The Experiment in International Living. Javonni is a passionate leader dedicated to making a difference through mutual understanding and peace.
