Karen joined SIT Study Abroad as the study abroad coordinator for programs in Asia and the Pacific in 2006. She served as university relations manager in the Mid-Atlanic region from 2008 to 2012, then as assistant director of University Relations from 2013 to 2017. She has served as the associate director of University Relations since 2017. She is based in the Brattleboro, Vermont, office. Karen holds an MA in Southeast Asian studies from Ohio University and a BA from Susquehanna University in international studies. Karen is an alumna of SIT Study Abroad, having participated in the SIT Bali, Indonesia, program.
